Ashley and John are getting married – 03.08.14 so we spent the late afternoon at the Ranch at San Patricio making pictures for their “Save the Date” wedding announcements and special keepsakes in preparation for the big day. We had a late start but we kept things moving to get some shots they will be able to enjoy for the rest of their lives. This is the fifth or sixth time at the ranch and every time we’ve been able to try something a little different.
- This picture was processed with a Lightroom plugin by AlienSkin, Exposure 5. This particular version was done using the “Infrared” preset and modified to enhance colors in their clothes. The deep green grass was rendered white.

A big hit – the Think Tank Pixel Sunscreen V2.0, Pop Open Sun Shade

I started out looking for a shade to fit my Ipad and came across the Think Tank Pixel Sunscreen V2.0, Pop Open Sun Shade that works with laptops up to 17″. First time out I found it to work fantastic and it was a big hit with the clients – in this case senior girls at their photo session – they loved it as much as I do. It’s not supposed to be used to carry a laptop but the Ipad is a light load and was a great convenience, keeping it out of the sun and dirt wherever we chose to set it down.
